IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To ensure you receive the Tail Bridge tailgate bringing system that is going to work for your truck, please review all info listed below prior to purchase as well as view the installation video for a complete understanding of the Tail Bridge System.
TB - Hinge/Bridge System
SIDE VIEW TAIL BRIDGE
Bridge should nestle into the blow-back tab and against the tailgate.
90 DEGREE BED POST
The Tail Bridge system requires that bed posts be a 90 degree angle for proper fit.
SAFE ZONE
Most Ford truck models have the 2" required flat space for installation. Some older model Dodge trucks require our 1.125" hinge and double bend bridge for compatibility.
RAISED CORNER
Some model F 250 and other trucks have a small raised portion, these may interfere with the flat surface needed for installation. Weld seam tabs should be fine.
ROUND BED POSTS
Round bed posts are not compatible with the Tail Bridge System at this time.
GMC/CHEVROLET BED DESIGN
Unfortunately, the truck bed design of most GMC/Chevrolet trucks are corrugated up to the tailgate, there is no flat space between the truck bed and tailgate to install the Tail Bridge System.
